Goede avond allen,

 

Zoals mijn nickname al doet vermoeden heet ik Mark. Ik ben 48 jaar en als sinds mijn luierperiode bezig met sport. In mijn algehele puberjaren ben ik druk bezig geweest met Goju Ryu Karate en kickboxing. Op mijn 21ste ben ik militair geworden en hierdoor een uitzending in Irak mogen meemaken (2004). Ook in mijn militaire tijd heb ik rete veel gesport. 3 x in de week hardlopen. 4 x in de week zaalvoetbal en 6 x in de week fitness. Veel sporten dus en hierdoor ook veel eten. Mijn calorie inname lag toen der tijd rond de 8000kCal anders kwam ik onder de 8% BF. Door deze periode om alle controle te hebben over eten en sporten ben ik ook een beetje gewend geraakt om controle te hebben op het leven en zeker het bodybuilding leven.

 

Maar nu. Hoe kom ik terecht op 25% en 109kg als ik altijd rond de 11% ben geweest.

Ik heb een tijdje in een donkere periode van het leven gezeten. Ja, ook ik werd geveld door depressies wat na een burn-out kwam. Dronk mijn lijf letterlijk kapot en sporten deed ik niet meer. En dit in een paar jaar. Nu weer 1,5 jaar netjes leven en dit jaar weer actief met sporten (6x/wk) ben ik van 35+% naar -25% gegaan. Totaal 7kg afgevallen, maar dit is door recomp van mijn spieren. Dit hoop ik door te trekken totdat ik een 6-pack heb als ik 50 word. 

 

Ik heb er zin in en hoop jullie ook te kunnen helpen met dit soort dingen en/of het trainen op zich. Ik geloof ook heel erg in science based trainingen, omdat ik heb gemerkt dat je met lichtere gewichten ontzettend goede resultaten kan halen.
