Je kunt wel elke dag trainen, maar wel een andere spiergroep. Elke dag dezelfde spiergroepen zorgt ervoor dat je spieren niet de tijd krijgen om te herstellen die ze nodig hebben.

Inderdaad, volgens de laatste bevindingen heeft meer dan 2x per week dezelfde spiergroep trainen geen enkele meerwaarde. Waarom is niet echt duidelijk. De vroegere idee achter meermaals trainen was dat proteinesynthese maximaal bleef. Dit gebeurd ook maar het blijkt nadelig te zijn voor spiergroei. Waarschijnlijk komt dit omdat het mechanisme dat beschadigde cellen moet afvoeren op dat moment wordt uitgeschakeld(mijn idee).
